💰 6 AI Paid Subscriptions You Should Consider Using in 2024

Six Must-Have Automatic Payments for 2024: Boost Your Work, Learning, and Creativity

Introduction to AI Paid Subscriptions

In 2024, I'm planning to stick with six paid subscriptions that are truly worth it for me. These aren't just any apps or services; they're tools that really help me get things done, learn new stuff, and stay ahead in my work. Let me walk you through these cool services and why I think you should have them for the coming year.

1. ChatGPT

Going for the paid plan of ChatGPT is like getting a fast pass for your favorite rides at an amusement park. You get to skip the long lines, which means no waiting around when the app is busy.

It's not just about speed, though; you get access to cooler features that aren't available to everyone, like creating your own GPT for specific tasks.
I currently use four specialized GPT models tailored for various projects and contexts.

Here are some of our GPTs:

Plus, you can ask more questions and do more things without hitting a limit. It's smoother and quicker, and if you ever run into trouble, you're more likely to get help quickly.

At first, using ChatGPT, Bard, or Bing Chat might feel a bit strange. That's normal, because it's something new. You need to keep using it to get good at it. But if you do, you'll see a big difference in how much you can get done and how well you do it.

2. Midjourney

Midjourney is one of the easiest AI image generators to get awesome results from. Its default style is significantly more artistic than DALL-E 3, so even basic prompts like "a cow" can produce good-looking results.

 Midjourney

The new version of Midjourney (version 6.0) has gotten a lot better at making images. It's especially good now at showing realistic human skin colors in the pictures.

 Midjourney

The only challenging aspect of Midjourney is mastering how to 'communicate,' or create prompts, to achieve the desired results.

Don't worry, we've got a series about HOW TO MASTER MIDJOURNEY: FROM A TO Z (Part 1 and Part 2) to help you make the most of Midjourney's potential.

Medium

Your go-to place to learn from others in your job is a blog site called Medium. It's packed with tons of great articles about AI, coding, data stuff, tech, and more.

It's not just about reading more; it's about connecting with ideas and perspectives that aren't always available in the mainstream. You'll find yourself discovering new topics and authors that challenge your thinking and broaden your horizons.

4. Kagi

Kagi

One might judge the quality of a search engine by how quickly it leads them to exactly what they're searching for. By such a measure, Google has been on a decline.

When one searches with Kagi, the correct answer is found in the top 2 links about 95% of the time and within the top 5 links 99% of the time. This level of accuracy is rarely achieved with Google or Bing.

Kagi stands out further because it allows personalization of search results. One can prioritize results from favored sites like Stack Overflow or Medium and block unwanted sites. Additionally, the absence of ads and superior search outcomes enhance its appeal.

The willingness to pay for Kagi mirrors the reasons for subscribing to Medium. The intrusion of ads in search results and content conflicts with the purpose of using search engines—to find information, not to be swayed by advertisements. Kagi and Medium offer an escape from this ad-dominated landscape, as highlighted in the post "The Age of PageRank is Over."

Notion

Managing projects and working together is super important for everyone, and Notion is a service that's really good at this. Notion is like a Swiss Army knife for your work, where you can keep all your projects, to-dos, and ideas in one place that looks nice and is easy to use.

With Notion, you can set up your own custom boards for tasks, make lists, and plan out your projects so everything stays neat and you don't lose focus. It's very flexible, so you can arrange it however you like, whether that's with a board that shows progress like a game or just simple lists.

Working with others on Notion is a breeze. You can share tasks, write comments, and see how things are moving along without any hassle. It doesn't matter if you're on your own or with a group; Notion puts everything you need to chat and work together in one spot, so you don't have to juggle different apps and websites.

LinkedIn -Learning

LinkedIn Learning is an online platform where you can find courses on a wide range of work-related and tech topics. I've used it to improve my prompt-engineering skills, learn more about project management, and stay updated with the latest AI developments. It's been really easy for me to learn new things and stay sharp in my field because the videos are top-notch and the lessons are interactive.

Conclusion

In conclusion, these six paid subscriptions are like having a toolbox that's packed with the best tools for a bunch of different jobs. Whether you're going with ChatGPT, making cool images with Midjourney, reading up on the latest in your field on Medium, searching the web with Kagi, organizing your work on Notion, or learning new skills on LinkedIn Learning, each one offers something unique that can really help you out. Investing in these services in 2024 means you're setting yourself up for success, keeping up with the latest trends, and making your work and learning both easier and more enjoyable.
