How to Create an AI Life Timelapse with Luma AI (Guide by Luma AI)
Find or create 2 photos varying in age. This works with any type of photos. I created mine using Midjourney to maintain the same background.
Import photos into Dream Machine. Place younger photo in “start frame” and older photo in “end frame” to use the Keyframes transition.
Type prompt “face stays still” in the input. This maintains the composition on the face. Experiment with this to get your own intended effect.
Hit generate to render your morphing video! Once it’s done “dreaming” you can view your transition. I repeated multiple attempts to get it just right.
Add and repeat Steps 1-4 to extend the effect. I used 12 photos between 1-99 years to convey the journey of a complete lifetime.
Combine your video generations into one story. Connect each clip in chronological order in editing.
Add timeline graphic or age counter. Customize your video with time labels for each photo.
