What are on FIRE 🔥
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FREESPOKE
What We’re Searching With.
Oh, the internet. It can be a scary place… but less so with Freespoke. Freespoke is a search engine that does a few important things differently:
News results show all sides with media biases labeled (left, middle, right)
Their new election portal delivers unbiased election coverage so you can make up your own mind
No adult content by default – they’re a partner in protecting your families from bad content. Freespoke is the search platform that respects your privacy and doesn’t manipulate the information you find online.
AI FEATURE
🤖 OpenAI Officially Introduced ChatGPT Search
Source: OpenAI
ChatGPT has launched a web search feature that gives you fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources
A new era of search kicked off in October 2024, and now we have most of the key pieces in place:
Claude Desktop App and Voice Dictation
SearchGPT
AI Studio Search Grounding
Mistral AI and Meta are also working on search but it doesn't seem ready yet.
First look: ChatGPT’s new search tool now gives short summaries from websites and shows where the info is from with a link. It also includes quick descriptions, displays the source site’s logo, and lets you ask more questions or check related links in a sidebar.
Our POV: Using AI to meet search needs is becoming really popular, especially because it creates new chances for advertising. It likely won’t be long before companies start offering free LLM APIs (covering hosting costs) that show ads for specific types of searches. A revenue model can be introduced to attract developers to use these LLM APIs that include ads.
