💥 Steal Our Detailed Prompts for Stop-Scrolling Content & Docs You Read Everyday

Each step with 1 super detailed prompt for you to copy & apply to any documents using ChatGPT. Make sure you'll get your docs impressive, persuasive, and make people say "WOW"!

Introduction

Do you remember our last part about a secret money making way? If you read that post, you SHOULD (or MUST) read this post. Give me another 5 minutes and I’ll make you say “WOW”!

All the prompts in today’s post are super detailed and cover like almost everything so that you could apply them to any document using ChatGPT, not just for a whitepaper.

Now, have you ever come across the word "Whitepaper" while browsing through a website or reading about a new project, and thought, "What’s that all about?"

You're not alone. When I first started learning, I saw "whitepaper" like almost everywhere like this but didn’t fully understand what it meant 👇

introduction-to-whitepapers

In simple terms, a whitepaper is the blueprint for any cryptocurrency or token project. It’s a document that explains what the project is, why it exists, and how it works. A well-done whitepaper shows credibility and gives clarity to your vision. If your whitepaper is confusing or lacks important details, it could stop people from taking your project seriously.

So What is a Whitepaper?

A whitepaper is essentially a detailed document that describes your project, its goals, technical framework, and how it works. It covers the problem your token solves and provides a clear solution using your token. Think of it as your project’s resume — but for your crypto token.

For example, Bitcoin’s whitepaper by Satoshi Nakamoto was one of the first in crypto and was a revolutionary document because it explained the entire vision of a decentralized digital currency.

bitcoins-whitepaper

When I worked on my project, the first thing I did was create a clear and honest whitepaper. Yeah and I made a few mistakes. I quickly realized that the best whitepapers aren’t just technical documents. They’re persuasive and easy to read.

=> Keep in mind these keywords while writing your whitepaper: Compelling, Honest, Persuasive.

Cause a good whitepaper should have:

  • Clarity: Don’t make it sound complicated. Use simple language and break things down into digestible sections.

  • Structure: It should have a clear flow, starting from the problem statement, moving into the solution (your token), and then explaining the technical side and the road ahead.

  • Honesty: Be upfront about the challenges you’re facing, the risks, and how you plan to solve problems. Investors will appreciate the transparency.

  • Design: The layout should be clean and professional. A well-designed whitepaper is more likely to be taken seriously. If it’s too cluttered or looks unprofessional, people may skip reading it entirely.

In this lesson, we’re going to break down why a whitepaper is so crucial for your token launch, what sections should be included, and how to make yours stand out using AI tool. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already working on your token, this will guide you through creating a professional whitepaper that sets your project up for success😁

I. Why Your Whitepaper Matters

A whitepaper serves as the first impression of your token to potential investors, users, and the community. In my experience, having a solid whitepaper can make the difference between success and failure. A whitepaper is sooooo important for gaining trust and building a community around your project.

📌 FUN FACT: Going back to the ICO (Initial Coin Offering) boom around 2017-2018, most projects only needed a whitepaper to successfully raise funds. For example, in May 2017, MobileGo (a crypto gaming project) raised $53 million through an ICO with just a whitepaper. This was also one of the largest ICO deals of 2017.

While there is no standard framework or specific rule for creating a whitepaper, it has become one of the must-have documents when researching cryptocurrency projects.

Why?

It Establishes Credibility

  • A professional whitepaper instantly makes your project look legitimate. It shows that you’ve put thought into the project, researched the market, and understand how your token will function. Investors, users, and potential partners are less likely to take a project seriously without a well-written whitepaper.

It Helps Investors Understand Your Project

  • You won’t invest in something you don’t understand right? That’s why your whitepaper is the first place other investors will go to find out how your token works and if it’s worth their time and money. It’s your job to make it as clear and convincing as possible.

It Provides Structure for Your Team

  • Your whitepaper is also a guiding document for your team. It sets out the vision, goals, and key milestones of the project. Everyone from developers to marketers to the community manager needs to be on the same page, and the whitepaper helps align all of them towards the same mission.

=> It kept us focused on the long-term goals, such as token distribution, tech development, and the marketing strategy.

It Builds Trust

  • A transparent, well-written whitepaper builds trust. It’s where you explain who’s behind the project, how you plan to use funds, and what steps you’ll take to avoid risks (like hacks or scams). People want to know that the project is in good hands and that their investment won’t disappear overnight. A detailed whitepaper reassures them that you’ve thought everything through and have a plan for moving forward.

It Sets Expectations

  • A whitepaper is not just for explaining how your token works; it’s also for setting clear expectations. It tells potential investors, partners, and users when they can expect things like token sales, product releases, and updates. Without clear timelines, people might lose interest or become frustrated with your progress. Your roadmap should show that you’re moving forward and have realistic expectations.

In my experience, a well-crafted whitepaper is your first step towards building trust and credibility in the crypto world. Don’t rush it, and don’t just write it for the sake of writing it. Take your time, explain every aspect of your token clearly, and make sure it reflects the professionalism of your project.

Next part, I’ll show you how I write our own whitepapers using ChatGPT.

II. Key Components of a Whitepaper

Like I said before, there is no standard framework or specific rule for creating a whitepaper. Every project can approach it differently based on their goals and vision. However, I’ve put together the core components that should absolutely be in your whitepaper to ensure it’s clear, professional, and persuasive.

Apart from these must-have sections, you can also add extra details like Your Ecosystem, Your Goal, or Your Mission, to provide more depth and clarity on the project’s vision.

But for now, let’s focus on the core sections that are essential for your whitepaper to stand out and communicate your token’s value effectively.

Basically, your whitepaper must have:

In this part, I’ll use Shiba Inu whitepaper to give you a better view.

1. Title Page

This is the first thing people see, so it needs to look professional and make a good impression.

key-components-of-a-whitepaper
  • What to include:

    • Project Name: The name of your token.

    • Logo: Your project’s logo for easy identification.

    • Tagline: A short sentence that sums up what your project does (think of it like a slogan).

    • Date: The publication date to show when the document was made.

  • Why it matters: The title page helps people quickly understand what your project is about and when it was created. A clean, simple design here sets the tone for the rest of the whitepaper.

2. Abstract (Executive Summary)

This is a short, clear summary of what your whitepaper is about. Think of it like an elevator pitch, you want to grab attention quickly and make people want to read more.

abstract-executive-summary
  • What to include:

    • A brief overview of your token project.

    • What problem your token is solving.

    • How your token works.

    • Why your project is important and how it will benefit users.

  • Why it matters: Investors and readers might not have time to read the whole whitepaper at once. This section gives them a quick snapshot to decide whether they want to dig deeper.

3. Problem Statement

This is where you explain the real-world problem that your token is solving. Don’t just say, “Our token is amazing”, you need to show why the world needs it.

problem-statement
  • What to include:

    • Clear description of the problem your token addresses.

    • Why existing solutions don’t work (highlight the gap your project fills).

    • Use statistics and real-world examples to support your claims. For example, “There’s a 30% fee on average for cross-border payments, and it can take up to 5 days to process.”

  • Why it matters: You need to show that there’s a real need for your token. The more specific and relevant your problem is, the more it will resonate with readers.

4. Solution: Your Token’s Purpose

Now that you’ve shown the problem, it’s time to explain how your token solves it. This is the core of your whitepaper, you need to clearly show how your token provides value.

solution-your-tokens-purpose
  • What to include:

    • How your token works and the technology behind it.

    • What makes it different from other tokens or solutions.

    • Use cases: Explain the different ways users can interact with your token. Is it for payments, staking, governance, or rewards?

    • How your token will create a sustainable ecosystem (why it won’t just be another short-lived project).

  • Why it matters: You need to convince people that your token actually solves the problem you mentioned. Explain how it’s practical, innovative, and has long-term value.

5. Tokenomics (most important part)

This is one of the most important sections. Tokenomics is how your token is distributed, how many tokens will exist, and how they’ll be used. Poor tokenomics can make or break a project.

tokenomics
  • What to include:

    • Total supply: How many tokens will exist in total? For example, if you have a token with a total supply of 1 million, that’s your hard cap.

    • Distribution: Who gets the tokens? Break down the distribution into categories:

      • Investors (private sale, public sale)

      • Team and advisors

      • Marketing and partnerships

      • Reserves (for liquidity, staking rewards, etc.)

    • Utility: How is your token used in the ecosystem? Can it be staked for rewards, used for governance (voting on decisions), or pay for services?

    • Incentives: How will you motivate people to hold and use your token? Will there be staking rewards, or maybe a governance model where token holders get to vote on future decisions?

  • Why it matters: Tokenomics can make or break your project. If your distribution is unclear or too much is allocated to the team, people won’t trust the project. Make sure the model is fair, sustainable, and aligned with long-term growth.

6. Technical Overview

This section explains the technical side of your token and how it works behind the scenes. You don’t need to dive into complex code, but you should explain the basics of how your token is built.

technical-overview
  • What to include:

    • The blockchain your token uses (Ethereum, Solana, Binance Smart Chain, etc.).

    • Whether your token is ERC-20, BEP-20, or another standard.

    • A basic explanation of how your token interacts with smart contracts.

    • Security measures: How will you ensure the security of your token? Did you get a smart contract audit from a company like CertiK or MythX?

  • Why it matters: Some investors or users want to understand the technical aspects of your token to see if it’s built securely. This section shows that your project is well thought out and technically sound.

7. Roadmap

Your roadmap is a timeline showing the future development of your project. It lets people know when they can expect certain milestones (like the token sale, partnerships, or platform launches).

roadmap
  • What to include:

    • Clear phases of development (e.g., Q1 2023 – Token Pre-Sale, Q2 2023 – Mainnet Launch).

    • What each milestone represents (e.g., technical achievements, partnerships, or user base growth).

    • Add realistic dates for each stage, but don’t make promises you can’t keep.

  • Why it matters: A roadmap gives investors and the community visibility into what you’re building and how you plan to execute it. It builds confidence in your project’s long-term plans.

This section shows that your project is compliant with regulations, which is crucial to avoid legal trouble.

  • What to include:

    • A statement about the legal structure of the token (e.g., whether it’s a utility token or security token).

    • Mention any legal disclaimers.

    • If applicable, include information about KYC/AML (Know Your Customer/Anti-Money Laundering) processes.

  • Why it matters: Legal clarity shows that your project is serious and safe. It reduces the risk of running into legal issues down the line.

9. Others (optional)

Team & Advisors, Use of Funds (how you’re going to use the money you raise from the token sale), Ecosystem (main features of website),…

Remember, each section should be easy to read, straightforward, and focused on long-term sustainability. A well-written whitepaper can be the difference between a successful token launch and one that falls flat.

III. Detailed Guide to Write an Impressive Whitepaper Using ChatGPT

Alright, now we’ll go into the most exciting part in today’s lesson. Writing a whitepaper for your token project can seem overwhelming at first, but using ChatGPT can help you create a professional, persuasive, and clear document. Let me walk you through how to use ChatGPT effectively to craft a powerful whitepaper.

This process is what I actually did for my project, so trust me, I’ll guide you in super detailed steps. No lie!

Step 1: Prepare or Document Every Little Info You Have

Before you ask ChatGPT to write anything, you need to gather all the key details about your project. Think of this as planning your project before you start building it.

What to document:

  1. Project Vision: What is the main goal of your token? What problem does it solve? => Take your time with this part. If you haven’t already clearly defined your token’s purpose, this is the time to do it.

  2. Tokenomics: Tokenomics is the economic model of your token. How many tokens are there? How will they be distributed? What is the purpose of each token (e.g., governance, rewards)?

=> If you don’t know what is “Tokenomics”, click here, we have another full guide for you. I found this guide on TheCryptoFire - a crypto newsletter, so if you want to see more tutorials, just subscribe it (FREE).

  1. Team Information: Who is involved in the project? What experience do they have?

  2. Technology: What blockchain are you using? Is your token built on Ethereum, Solana, Binance Smart Chain?

  3. Roadmap: What milestones have you planned for the project? When do you expect to release the token, do a presale, or launch the mainnet?

  4. Market Research: If you have any market analysis or statistics (e.g., how much transaction fees you want to reduce), write them down.

  5. Legal and Compliance Information: Mention any legal disclaimers or compliance strategies you want to include.

The goal here is to get everything on paper so that ChatGPT can help you organize and present it in the best possible way. Don’t worry and don’t be stress here. Just write briefly so that ChatGPT can thoroughly “comprehend” your project.

The more detailed and organized you are here, the smoother the writing process will go. Then use this prompt (but remember to replace your own information from number 1):

I am creating a cryptocurrency token that solves a specific problem within the crypto ecosystem. I need your help in understanding my token's goals, features, and technical details.

I need you to take all the information above and understand the full scope of my token project. I want you to process this data so you can help me structure and write my whitepaper in the next steps.

For now, do not write anything, just make sure you have a deep understanding of the project, its purpose, technical details, and the overall direction. Prepare yourself to assist in the whitepaper creation when I provide more examples or guidance. Once you are ready, let me know and we can proceed with writing specific sections of the whitepaper.

Here's everything you need to know about my project:
1. Project Vision:
- Main Goal: Our token aims to solve the problem of high transaction fees in decentralized finance (DeFi). It will provide a more accessible DeFi ecosystem by utilizing Layer 2 technology to reduce transaction fees and increase processing speeds. This is particularly helpful for smaller investors who cannot afford high gas fees for smaller transactions.
- Target Market: Small to medium investors in DeFi platforms.
- Problem Addressed: Current DeFi platforms have high transaction costs, often making small transactions unprofitable due to gas fees.
- Solution Offered: Our token reduces these costs through Layer 2 solutions, enabling smaller transactions and improving overall platform efficiency.

2. Tokenomics (Supply, Distribution, Use):
- Total Supply: 1 million tokens.
- Token Distribution:
+ 50% for community rewards (staking, liquidity pools, etc.)
+ 30% for investors (pre-sale, public sale)
+ 10% for the team and founders
+ 10% for future development and reserves
- Utility of Tokens:
+ Staking: Users can stake tokens to earn rewards.
+ Governance: Token holders can vote on key project decisions.
+ Transaction Fees: Tokens are used to pay for low-cost transactions on the platform.

3. Team Information:
Key Team Members:
- John Doe (Blockchain Developer): 5 years of experience in blockchain development, including work at [Company XYZ].
- Jane Smith (DeFi Expert): Extensive experience working on decentralized platforms, with expertise in protocol development and governance mechanisms.
- Advisors: We also have a team of experienced advisors who provide guidance on security, market strategy, and legal compliance.

4. Technology Stack:
- Blockchain Platform: The token is built on the Ethereum blockchain, using the ERC-20 token standard for compatibility with the Ethereum network.
- Layer 2 Solution: We will use a Layer 2 scaling solution to handle transactions, which will lower gas fees and speed up transaction processing times.
- Security: The smart contract will undergo an audit with [Audit Firm XYZ] to ensure there are no vulnerabilities.
- Smart Contract Features: The contract will include functionality for staking, governance voting, and transaction fee management.

5. Roadmap:
Q1 2025: Release of the whitepaper and initial marketing campaign.
Q2 2025: Token presale and private sale. The first major platform listing.
Q3 2025: Launch the mainnet and staking rewards program.
Q4 2025: Integrations with other DeFi platforms, launch partnerships, and liquidity mining initiatives.
2026: Ongoing development, community engagement, and expanding to other blockchain ecosystems.

6. Market Research and Statistics:
- DeFi Market: The DeFi market has grown by more than 50% in 2022, with total value locked (TVL) increasing from $15 billion to $23 billion.
- High Transaction Fees: In the Ethereum ecosystem, gas fees can be as high as $50-$100 per transaction during network congestion, making small transactions unfeasible.
- Target Audience: There are over 500,000 active DeFi users who would benefit from lower transaction costs.

7. Legal and Compliance:
- Compliance with Regulations: We are working with legal experts to ensure our token complies with all necessary global regulations and KYC/AML requirements. We’re currently ensuring our compliance with SEC regulations in the United States and MiCA regulations in Europe.
- Legal Disclaimer: Our token will include clear legal disclaimers to ensure transparency and protect investors.
prepare-or-document-every-little-info-you-have

Do you know why this prompt is so powerful? It starts with a full, organized breakdown of everything about the project. You’re guiding ChatGPT with clear context on your project and what needs to be processed. It sets up ChatGPT to understand everything fully before starting to write specific sections of the whitepaper. Once ChatGPT understands your project, you can easily move on to more detailed writing.

Step 2: Guide ChatGPT with the 2nd Prompt

In this step, you’ll guide ChatGPT to understand the structure, tone, and style of the whitepaper you want to create. This is crucial because the way the whitepaper is written will affect how investors, users, and the community perceive your token. You’ll set up clear instructions for ChatGPT to follow, ensuring it writes exactly what you need.

Output from the first prompt above is the summary of the key elements in your project. Now you need to decide the tone of your whitepaper, this is how the whitepaper feels when it’s read.

I highly recommend setting a tone that builds trust and reflects professionalism, since your whitepaper will be representing your project to potential investors and the community. Most whitepapers have a formal and professional tone, but the tone can vary depending on your audience.

Here’s my instruction for my projects’ whitepaper (take it as a reference):

Good. Now I want to set the tone of the whitepaper.
- Make it formal and professional tone.
- Keep the language clear, direct, and persuasive.
- As you know, if we have real time and exact number related to the project, it'll be more attractive to traders and investors, so fix the whitepaper so that it's more trustwhorthy.
- Use plain language to explain technical concepts. Avoid long, complex sentences or excessive technical jargon. If you need to use complex terms (e.g., blockchain terms), make sure to explain them in simple terms.
- The whitepaper should be detailed, but not too long. Make sure you are not overwhelming the reader with unnecessary information. Each section should have enough detail to be convincing but remain concise and to the point.
- While it’s professional, it should also be interesting to read. Try to keep the reader’s attention with a flowing narrative that explains the problem, solution, and value clearly.
- Remember to write alright, let's write in easy-to-understand, short, simple, human-like language, and use common words, like when people talk, it must be easy to read and understand.

Examples of Persuasive Words:
- Innovative, Leading, Game-changing, Proven, Secure, High potential, Next-generation.

Examples of Trust-Building Words: Reliable, Transparent, Audited, Regulated, Community-driven, Sustainable

IMPORTANT RULES:
- Don't use structure "whether..." or "tailored"
- Use more "I" and "you" like personal view.
- Use several numbers, statistics to make each part reliable.

The goal is to sound credible, trustworthy, and confident in the value our token brings to the market. It’s important to be transparent, especially about security and compliance.

NOTE: Please follow the structure, tone, and writing style I’ve outlined, but don’t start writing yet. Wait for me to provide more specific examples so you can generate the text for each section accordingly.

This step is all about preparing ChatGPT to help you write effectively. I’m not having it write the whole whitepaper just yet. I’m guiding it on how to approach the writing, what tone to use, and which words will be most persuasive.

=> Setting up clear instructions like this will help ensure that when ChatGPT starts writing, the text will be consistent, clear, and persuasive.

Step 3: Provide Examples for It to Write

Once you’ve guided ChatGPT on the structure, tone, style, and persuasive elements in Step 2, the next step is to provide real examples to help ChatGPT understand the type of content you want.

Just like if you were explaining something to a colleague or team member, you need to show what you expect before they can create something on their own. It makes the process smoother and helps ensure the final output fits your needs.

So where are those examples? Yeah, scroll down to Bonus part in this lesson, you’ll see some real-world examples of the most impressive whitepapers that our team found. I recommend finding 1 or 2 whitepapers that are compelling to you and closely match the tone you want for your own. This can help solidify your whitepaper’s direction and give you a clear model to follow.

Once you’ve chosen the whitepapers that align with your tone, copy it and use this prompt:

Alright, here're some examples of good whitepapers that I found, Please review these two examples from .... and ..... whitepapers to write my whitepaper. Try to create another one that fits our project using these examples:

Example 1: [paste your 1st whitepaper template]

Example 2: [paste your 2nd whitepaper template]
provide-examples-for-it-to-write

Just use 1-2 whitepapers to give examples for ChatGPT, cause from my experience, it can’t process too many examples in 1 single prompt.

=> Looking at real-world examples gives you confidence in your whitepaper’s style. You get to see what works in the industry and make sure your project stands out. Persuasion, clarity, and professionalism are key elements that make a whitepaper stand out to investors and users.

Step 4: Write in Detail Each Part with Another Prompt

This step is optional though, but I truly believe you should take this step. Rather than trying to generate the entire whitepaper at once, break it down into smaller, manageable chunks. Each section should be approached individually to ensure quality and focus.

=> Focus on just one section, like the Problem Statement or Tokenomics. Once that’s done, move to the next section.

So in step 3, ChatGPT will give you an entire whitepaper with full parts. Now use this prompt following that:

ok, from now on, when I type a request formatted like this "detailed to only ...". It means I want you to write in as detailed as possible the part I request, no need to write again other parts , okay.

let's adjust the way you write to ensure it is written when using simple, easy to understand language, human-like language.

IMPORTANT RULES:
- Don't use structure "whether..." or "tailored"
- Use more "I" and "you" like personal view, and personal experience of years of trying and testing.
- Use several numbers, statistics to make each part reliable.

You can see that in this prompt, I emphasize the rules I want again, just to make sure ChatGPT follow strictly our writing style like this:

Okay, now let’s write each part in detail using the “request” that you mention before. For example, I want to write the “Tokenomics” part:

write-in-detail-each-part-with-another-prompt
detailed to only Tokenomics
write-in-detail-each-part-with-another-prompt-2

You’ll see it will write much more detailed and persuasive than the previous version. Once you’ve generated content for each section using the detailed prompts, you can review, edit, and refine the text as needed.

Don’t be afraid to ask ChatGPT for additional tweaks, like improving readability, adding examples, or adjusting the tone if necessary.

Step 5: Finalize Your Whitepaper in a Document or a Website

Once you have written all the sections and are satisfied with the content, it’s time to put everything together into a single document or website.

Now, many platforms out there can host your whitepaper, like Google Docs, Notion, or even WordPress. The choice is yours, for us, we find that Gitbook is a great choice for organizing, publishing, and sharing your whitepaper in a clean and professional manner. We use it for most of our projects now.

Summary & Next Steps

After working on many whitepapers over the years, I can say that simplicity and clarity are crucial. You don’t want to overcomplicate things, but at the same time, you need to make sure the whitepaper covers everything an investor needs to know. It’s about finding the right balance. Be clear about what your token does, back up your claims with facts (like data or research), and show your vision for the future.

Lastly, remember that your whitepaper is a living document. As your project grows, update it to reflect any changes or new insights. A whitepaper should evolve with your project, and that shows investors you're actively engaged.

This is your project’s introduction, and it’s your chance to make a great first impression. It’s your opportunity to show why your token is special and why it’s worth the time and investment.

With a well-crafted whitepaper, you’ll have the foundation to build a successful token launch.
