AI INSIGHTS
🤖 Man + Machine = Smarter, Faster, More Human Teams

A new Harvard, Wharton & P&G study with 776 professionals just showed how generative AI (GPT-4) is quietly reshaping teamwork, creativity, and even emotion at work.
Key Takeaways:
AI boosts performance - even more than humans working in teams. When individuals used AI, they outperformed 2-person teams without AI.
Individuals + AI: +0.37 SD in output quality
Teams without AI: +0.24 SD
Teams with AI: +0.39 SD
→ So yes — solo workers using GPT-4 performed better than human teams. And AI-powered teams crushed it.
Time saver, not time waster. AI didn’t slow anyone down. It sped things up:
Individuals + AI: 16.4% less time spent
Teams + AI: 12.7% less time spent
Also submitted longer, richer, more detailed ideas
It breaks down expertise silos: Traditionally, R&D people write technical answers. Commercial folks focus on business value.
But with AI? Everyone — no matter their role — submitted balanced, cross-functional ideas. AI helped people think outside their job title.
AI + Teams = your best shot at breakthrough ideas.
Teams using AI were 3x more likely to land in the top 10% of all solutions. Control group (no AI): 5.8%. Team + AI: 15%
→ AI solo use helped, but the real magic was humans + AI + collaboration.
AI users were better — but felt worse.
Ironically, people using AI were 9.2% less likely to believe their ideas were top-tier — even though they actually performed better.
→ Wild stat: People using AI underestimated themselves.
Why it matters: AI is changing how we work, how well we work — and how we feel doing it.
It improves speed, quality, and team balance. AI users didn’t just copy-paste; they edited, refined, and shaped the final output. Usage averaged 18.7 queries per person, and the end results were meaningfully different from raw AI suggestions.
Most interesting? AI helped balance voices in teams. Stronger personalities didn’t dominate. The work became more unified — and people actually collaborated better.
It's not just man vs. machine.
It’s: man + machine = smarter, faster, more human teams.

🧍♀️ H&M is now using AI “digital twins” of real models to show off clothes. These 3D avatars are made from photos and styled virtually - no need for stylists, makeup, or full photoshoots. It cuts production costs but raises concerns, similar to the 2023 actors' strike over digital cloning.
🗣️ Otter just upgraded your meetings. Its new voice-activated Meeting Agent can answer questions, schedule tasks, and even draft emails - all in real time, right inside your Zoom calls, expansion to other platforms coming in the near future.
🤖 Figure 02 robots just learned to walk like humans - thanks to an AI brain trained fully in simulation. No manual tuning needed when switching to the real world.
✍️ Midjourney and NYU built new tricks for AI writing. Now, models pick creative and rare responses - without repeating the same boring answers over and over.

AI CHART

“AI is sending me traffic!” “...Well, kind of.”
Ahrefs' report deep dives into how much referral traffic websites are actually getting from AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
📊 The result? 0.1%.
That’s it. AI sends about the same traffic as Reddit. And it’s way behind Google (345x less, to be exact).
But before you give up on AI traffic altogether, here’s the twist:
➡️ Small sites benefit more.
If your site gets under 10K visits/month, AI sends ~0.3% of your traffic — more than email.
➡️ Certain content types perform better.
Think: “Best of,” “vs,” guides, and product pages. AI bots love structured, comparison-style content.
➡️ Perplexity is rising fast.
It now outperforms Gemini as a traffic source — and it’s more likely to mention brands by name.
➡️ AI is stronger in some verticals.
If you're in Business, Education, or Health — or based in the U.S. — you’re more likely to see impact.
Now here’s what most people miss:
⚠️ AI’s not just about traffic.
It’s about awareness and conversions. Ahrefs found ~3% of their own signups came from AI mentions.
So no, AI won't suddenly replace Google as your #1 referrer.
But it can help people discover you, trust you, and eventually choose you — all before they even click.
If you're building content in 2025, maybe it's time to stop asking "how many clicks did I get?". And start asking: "Is AI even mentioning me at all?"
